Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of goods and services between the buyer (hereinafter "Buyer") and Backdek Trade OÜ (hereinafter "Webshop") from backdek.com. In addition to these terms, the legal relationships arising from the purchase of products from the backdek.com webshop are regulated by the applicable laws of the Republic of Estonia.
Product and Price Information
The seller offers various thermowood products on the website. Product information is provided directly next to the product. The product price is indicated next to the product, and all listed prices include 22% VAT. All transactions are conducted in euros.
Backdek.com reserves the right to make changes to the sales conditions and prices. If an order is placed before changes to the sales conditions or prices are made, the terms and conditions in effect at the time of the order will apply to the relationship between the buyer and the seller.
Order Placement
To order a product, selections regarding installation and deck feet must be made, and desired products must be added to the shopping cart.
To confirm the order/purchase, please fill in all required fields and you can also add comments regarding the product or delivery.

Payments are processed by Maksekeskus AS. Payment is made in a secure environment outside the webshop – for bank link payments, in the respective bank’s secure environment, and for credit card payments, in Maksekeskus AS’s secure environment. The seller does not have access to the buyer’s bank or credit card information. The contract comes into effect upon receipt of the payment to the webshop's account.
The owner of the webshop is the responsible data controller and will forward the necessary personal data for payment processing to the authorized processor, Maksekeskus AS.
Delivery
Backdek Trade OÜ is responsible for product delivery.
Domestic shipments within Estonia will arrive at the buyer's specified destination within 5 to 15 working days after purchase. Deliveries outside of Estonia (to European Union countries) will be made within 14-30 working days. Additional information regarding product delivery can be found in the product description.
If the ordered product cannot be delivered within the promised period, the buyer will be immediately informed, and in case of order cancellation, the paid amount (including shipping costs) will be refunded without delay, but no later than 7 working days after sending the notice.
Force Majeure
The seller is not liable for any damages or delays in product delivery if the damage or delay is caused by circumstances beyond the seller's control or foreseeing.
Right of Withdrawal
After receiving the order, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract with the seller within 14 days. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a legal entity. To exercise the 14-day return right, the product must be in its original packaging and unused.
To return the product, the buyer must submit a withdrawal statement no later than 14 days after receiving the product. The withdrawal statement can be sent via email to info@backdek.com or by filling out the form on the website.
The withdrawal statement must include the following details: name and code of the product being returned, the sales invoice/order confirmation number, the date of receipt, the buyer’s name, email address, contact phone number, the address (where the product was delivered), and the name of the refund recipient. If payment was made based on an invoice, the bank account number and account holder's name must also be provided for the refund.
If the product shows signs of use, the seller has the right to reduce the refunded amount based on the decrease in the product’s value.
Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer, unless the return is due to the fact that the returned product does not match the order (e.g., wrong or defective item).
The buyer must return the product within 14 days after submitting the withdrawal statement or provide proof that the product has been handed over to the carrier during this period. The buyer will be refunded the amount paid for the order (including shipping costs and selected extras) once the returned product has reached the seller’s backdek.com warehouse.
Right to Make Claims
The seller is responsible for any non-conformity or defect in the goods sold to the buyer, which existed at the time of delivery.
The buyer has the right to submit a claim regarding defects within two months of their discovery. The claim must be sent by email to info@backdek.com, including the order confirmation number, contact phone number, and a detailed description of the non-conformity or defect, along with supporting pictures if possible.
The seller will respond to the consumer's complaint in writing or in a form that allows for written reproduction as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days from receiving the claim.
The repair or replacement of defective goods will be agreed upon between the seller and the buyer, with the costs covered by the seller.
The seller is not responsible for defects that arise after the product has been delivered to the buyer.
The seller is not liable for defects caused by improper storage or misuse by the buyer.
Processing of Personal Data
The owner of the webshop uses the personal data entered by the buyer (including name, phone number, address, email address, bank details) only for order processing and delivery of the product to the buyer.
The owner of the website is the responsible data controller and will forward the personal data to the transport service provider to deliver the goods.
Dispute Resolution
If the buyer has complaints about the goods purchased on the website, they must send them via email to info@backdek.com.
If the buyer and seller cannot resolve the dispute through agreement, the buyer can contact the Consumer Disputes Committee. The Consumer Disputes Committee is competent to resolve disputes arising from the contract between the buyer and the webshop.
